On June 4th at 5:40pm, Patrolman Kyle Cranmer arrested Geoffrey Colucci, 48, of Manahawkin for DWI after responding to West Bay Ave and Barnegat Blvd for a multiple car crash. An investigation determined that Colucci had rear-ended a stopped motor vehicle which set off a chain reaction crash ultimately involving three cars. It was further determined that Colucci was impaired due to alcohol.
Colucci’s vehicle was impounded in accordance with John’s Law. Colucci was processed and released with summonses for DWI and reckless driving.

On June 5th at 6:20pm, Patrolman Kyle Cranmer arrested Edward Petro, 49, of Barnegat fro DWI after agency detectives on a separate case observed Petro’s vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel. Ptl. Cranmer stopped Petro’s vehicle on Georgetown Blvd. Petro’s vehicle was impounded in accordance with John’s Law. Petro was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, improper display of plates, and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

On June 6th at 1:08am, K9 Officer Robert Armstrong arrested William Ludwig IV for DWI after responding to the Laurel Oaks complex for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Ludwig’s Green Jeep Liberty matched the description of the suspicious vehicle. It was determined that Ludwig had been operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol. Ludwig’s vehicle was impounded in accordance with John’s Law. He was processed and released with summonses for DWI and reckless driving.
