Car Stop Leads to Multiple Drug Arrests
On January 13th, Patrolman Nicholas Venuto arrested Ethan McCraken, 22, of Barnegat, Frank Dichiara, 27, of Toms River, and Lindsey Frusco, 22, of East Brunswick on multiple drug charges after stopping their vehicle on West Bay Ave for a motor vehicle violation.
During the course of the stop, Ptl. Venuto obtained consent to search the vehicle at which time he recovered quantities of heroin and crack cocaine.
McCraken and Dichiara were both charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Both subjects were processed and released pending a court date.
Frusco provided a false identity to officers by identifying herself as Brittany Frusco (her sister) and providing Brittany’s personal information. Officers discovered same when alerted that the fingerprints did not match Brittany, but instead matched Lindsey.
Lindsey Frusco was charged with hindering apprehension, possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. She was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in default of $70,000 bail.
